Seeing the cases made by Oberon Design for the first time feels like as if these were created during the time of Ancient Greece. The beauty, symmetry and art that were put into those beautiful new iPad covers will definitely captivate you.

This case has 16 different styles which going to make you think hard on what’s going to purchase because all of them are fantastic designs.

Here is a list of the authentic cases they offer for the new iPad.

  1. Avenue of Trees
  2. Bold Celtic
  3. Celtic Hounds
  4. Cloud Dragon
  5. Butterfly
  6. Dragonfly on Pond
  7. Forest
  8. Creekbed  Maple
  9. Roof of Heaven
  10. Tree of Life
  11. Wild Rose
  12. World Tree
  13. Hokusai Wave
  14. Paisley
  15. River Garden
  16. Ginkgo

The appearance of the covers is superb so as the protective and other technical features. Its exterior’s skin is made from leather plus the lock button is from pewter which matches the theme of the skin’s artistry. It also has a bungee chord which is a part of the closure system together with pewter button.

Moving on to its protective features, the frame or edges of this iPad case is made from thick leather to lessen the impact made by bumps or accidental fall which can cause damage. It also has soft wool felt inside facing the display screen which protects it from scratches from shakes or bumps.

The new iPad is held by 4 corner straps which ensure that it will be in a compact position. Aside from that, there are internal pockets (large and small) perfect for holding business cards, I.D, small important papers, etc. It has 2 sturdy and thin boards which absorbs shock.

The cutouts were precisely cut so that it won’t obstruct any important ports and buttons of the gadget. There is also a camera hole so that you can use it anytime without taking your gadget off the case.

You can also watch movies, type, or browse easily with the use of “platform mode”. This mode allows viewing positions which transform the normal case into stand so that you can comfortably do some activities like typing, chatting among others.

To make it into platform mode, all you have to do is to pull out the bungee loop inside, fold the cover to form a reverse V and put the elastic chord on the leather hook at the back of the front cover and it is done. You can now view and use the new iPad without holding or resting it in your hand.

In conclusion, this folio case is an all-around case with a touch of aesthetics, preferably for those people who look for great and efficient case. The only knock on this case is its price because unlike the normal folio cases which price ranges from $50.00 to $100.00. This one will cost a hundred thirty bucks. It’s a bit pricey but I think it will be well compensated by its usability, looks and durability.
